National Institute Of Open Schooling Programme
Enabling education continuity for adolescents at risk of dropping out
Positioned as a bridge between the Learning Centres and the Second Chance School, the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) Programme offers students aged 15+ at risk of dropping out an opportunity to continue their formal education and rebuild their academic confidence during a critical stage in their lives. It focuses on preventing early educational disruptions from becoming permanent barriers to future growth and livelihoods.
The programme combines structured classroom learning with personalised academic support to meet learners at different educational levels and starting points. Students are supported through regular classes, mentoring, assessments, and guidance tailored to their learning pace and individual needs.
