Professionals, entrepreneurs, and individuals with relevant experience who are willing to guide and support learners can become mentors. What matters most is your commitment, empathy, and willingness to engage.

Mentors can engage in two ways: Ongoing mentoring with Second Chance School learners, supporting them through their education and early career journeys. Short-term mentoring (12 weeks) as part of the Entrepreneurship Programme, working closely with aspiring entrepreneurs to develop their ideas and supporting them through the pitch fest, which is held every year in March.

Ongoing mentoring: A few hours each month, with regular check-ins. Entrepreneurship Programme: A more structured commitment over 12 weeks, with weekly interactions.

Mentoring is primarily one-on-one, though there may be opportunities to participate in group sessions, workshops, or panel discussions.

Yes, most mentoring interactions can take place virtually. Some opportunities for in-person engagement may also be available.

Yes. All mentors receive an orientation covering Ritinjali’s approach, learner context, and expectations to ensure meaningful engagement.

You will work with young adults from underserved backgrounds, either from Delhi or from outside Delhi, who are returning to education, building skills, or exploring livelihood and entrepreneurship opportunities.

No. Prior experience is not required.

Mentors are matched based on their background, experience, and areas of interest, ensuring alignment with learner needs and goals.
