REHABILITATION OF KARGIL WAR VICTIM'S FAMILIES

In a national crisis, Ritinjali has always stepped forward. The Kargil war was no exception. In 24 hours, we re-fitted a ward at the Base Hospital in Delhi, supplied medicines to the base hospital outside Srinagar and we were invited to be a part of a long-term rehabilitation programme. We implemented projects at Landsdowne and Dehra Dun which offered self-employment schemes to war widows. It is our effort to brighten the lives of their young children with toys and educational books.
