National Institute of Open Schooling(NIOS)

Ritinjali runs two Accredited Vocational Institutes (AVI), operating under the National Institute of Open Schooling(NIOS) at Mahipalpur. The AVI got its affiliation from NIOS in July 2005 for running a Computer and Tailoring Course. The technical curriculum being implemented is based on NIOS guidelines. Over and above, the prescribed syllabus, Ritinjali Core Curriculum is also implemented at the AVIs. An external teacher visits the centre every 6 months to conduct tests and track the progress of each student. The positive response shown by the students towards the courses has been encouraging, as this also indicates their desire to learn and empower themselves with skills that would help them stand in good stead in the future. In a short span of time the NIOS center has achieved great success with all its students passing out with very good mark and students being placed in well to do jobs.
