A soldier dies once. It’s his family that then dies every day of their remaining lives.Kargil was won by us. But the future seemed lost for the families of the war victims. That’s when we at Ritinjali took positions. In 24 hours, we re-fitted a ward at the Base Hospital in Delhi. Concurrently, we send medical supplies to the hospitals in Srinagar. Finally, we implemented projects in both landsdowne and in Dehra Dun, Which offered employment opportunities to the war widows. For the children of our war heroes, we put into place educational toys and programmes. Its just one of the many things that we do. We believe that each of us must give back to society what society has so kindly given to us.
