Minutes of the Meeting (20th January, 2007)

Dharbhanga house – Mrs. Dhar spoke to Mrs. Bhasin who said she would send a rough report on Ritinjali's achievements, what the students gained out of it, the money spent, whether this project should be continued any further. This report is yet to be received. A meeting was also supposed to be held between Mrs. Bhasin, Mrs. Kaul and Mrs. Dhar.This has not taken place as yet.
Mrs. Dhar and Ashish are to meet Mr. Pathak in the coming week to discuss the two year budget for all the ritinjali projects.
A seven day time table has been prepared for the two volunteers from England , reaching India on the 23rd January. Ashish to organize their living arrangements.
Mukesh and Ranjit spoke to Mrs. Dhar and Mrs. Tyagi and they have been given the following instructions-:
They have to give names of eight boys each, who will be taken for trekking trips to the forest and for environmental exposure
They are to help in the organization of cricket matches and bicycle races for the boys in Kusumpur Pahari. They are also to arrange for the bicycles which will be used to race with. The first cricket match will take place next week.
They have to make identity cards for all the boys using the gym.
Volunteers are required to hold music and art classes for the children at the learning centres
The website has been updated and a ‘Be a volunteer' page has been attached
Mrs. Tyagi went to Timarpur and met Mr. Khoka, an official in UEE who informed her that they could grant ritinjali permission to start the UEE centre. We have to follow this up.
Members and volunteers have to be invited for the various activities that will be conducted at the learning centres.
