Golf Tournament 2011

An idea, intense brainstorming, firm conviction, several round of meetings by think tanks, strategizing, and the idea transformed into a wonderful reality "Ritinjali’s Second Chance Golf Tournament”.

The first edition of the tournament was held in the year 2004 at Classic Golf Resort (Gurgaon). The tournament saw representation from scores of organizations, which sent across more than a hundred participants from diverse backgrounds. The young sarod maestros Aman and Ayan (the Bangash brothers and sons of the sarod legend Ustad Amjad Ali Khan) brought in melody and glitter with their magical fingers and presence.

The Second Chance Golf Tournament is a unique event, leveraging as it does the medium of golf to successfully raise funds which help in providing impetus to various causes supported by Ritinjali. In the past years many noble corporates have joined hands with us by participating in this tournament and thus helping in raising funds.

Ritinjali is an effort that works for education, for providing opportunity and learning as a means to awareness, such that the learning may lead to an open window, an access to a better life. It aims at providing a second chance and hence the unique name of this tournament.
