In recent years, he has been grant making, capacitating and closely working with over 50 NGOs in India and several corporate donors on varied causes from environment and health to education and livelihoods. Anjali Alexander Anjali Alexander is the Vice President of Mobile Creches (MC). After doing her post graduation in Economics, Ms. Alexander was working as a lecturer in a Delhi college. Her husband's posting in the USA exposed her to the culture of volunteering prevailing in that country. Subsequently, about nine years ago, a friend introduced her to MC. She met some of the key persons involved at that time, enrolled herself as a volunteer, and has never looked back since. Dr. Janaki Rajan Dr. Janaki Rajan is currently the Professor of Education at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi . She has also served as the Director, State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Delhi from 2000-2006. She has been associated with teacher training, curriculum development and material development for the government and municipal corporation schools of Delhi . She initiated "Culture Quest", an on-line programme for government schools of Delhi with state schools at New York , in collaboration with the City College of City University of New York . She has also established alternative public schools for low-income neighbourhoods and has served as a member of the UNICEF Education for All working group. She is published in several anthologies and has written and spoken about children's literature in almost every major newspaper, magazine, television and radio channel including BBC London. She headed the National Centre for Children's Literature, National Book Trust, India , from 1996-2001. She is a world Record holder for helping almost 3000 children make the World's Longest Newspaper. As a storyteller, she has performed her stories in many parts of India , UK and Switzerland and France . She has also been associated with the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation since 2004, working with children who have been impacted by terrorist violence in Kashmir .
